Cosmetic Surgery to Stay Younger

I asked the question, 'would you consider cosmetic surgery to stay young as you grow older'?  Just under 70% said no, this really surprised me. As we become more advanced in technology more people are having surgery to alter their appearance. I am surprised more people haven't answered yes to this instead of the 17% which did alongside the 17% that said they don't know.

7 year old gets £7,000 liposuction voucher for Christmas

A seven-year-old who received a voucher for a boob job on her last birthday has received yet another inappropriate gift from her surgery-obsessed mother: A £7,000 voucher for liposuction. Little Poppy Burge received the gift in her Christmas stocking after her mother, a 51-year-old plastic surgery addict known as The Human Barbie, decided it would 'come in handy'. 'I put the voucher in her stocking - there's nothing wrong with that,' she said.  'She asks for surgery all the time. Is this appropriate to teach someone so young that cosmetic surgery is the 'right' thing to do? She hasn't  developed breasts yet to even know if she 'needs' a breast enlargement. Poppy said 'I can't wait to be like Mummy with big boobs. They're pretty' but surely at 7 you're too young to be thinking along these lines?

Is Age Really Just a Number?

This broad question for discussion doesn't have to relate to someone being 'too old' for something certain. It can stem of into many subquestions which I could try and answer through my networks:

• What defines age?
• Should there be an age of consent?
• How old is too old to be living at home?
• How young is too young for cosmetic surgery?
• How old (young) is too old (young) to have a baby?
• Does an age gap really matter in a relationship?
• Are children 'growing up' too fast?
• Drinking underage?
• Should you be doing that at your age?

All these questions and many more can help me to answer my headlining question, Is Age Really Just a Number?
